Ricochet Chardonnay 2019

From the fantastic 2019 vintage (yet another in a string of superb harvests), it’s everything a “Mendo Chard” should be: luscious and tropically fruit-forward, with a streak of freshness that will have you bouncing back for a second glass. There’s no oak influence here—just pure fruit ripeness. One sip, and you’ll understand why it scooped a silver medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Play up the mango/pineapple notes in the wine with huli-huli Hawaiian chicken, or mango/beer-braised pork shoulder. Mmmm…
