Quinta Do Vale Meao Douro 2022 750ml

A minerally red, bright and offering fine balance, this shows good drive and focus to flavors of blackberry paste, Kalamata olive, graphite and fragrant violet, thyme and milled pepper notes with firm, fine-grained tannins. It has a compact feel today, but it reveals its layers as it opens in the glass and echoes on the finish, suggesting a strong future ahead. Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Alicante. Best from 2027 through 2040.
