NV Corazza Prosecco Extra Dry Treviso Italy

Only one Prosecco has inspired us to grab our phone and text Italy: the Corazza Extra Dry.

We were at a Malibu restaurant having lunch with a few friends. When we asked the server to recommend a bottle of bubbly to go with our order of oysters, octopus carpaccio, and spicy tuna tartare, she said, “You have to try the Corazza Prosecco.”

“Corazza?” we asked, perking up and knowing the name couldn’t be a coincidence. We snapped a pic of the label and WhatsApped it to our importer friend Alex Corazza, who’s brought us some unforgettable white wines. 

“Holding out on us?!?!?!” we typed. Alex possesses an unfathomable knowledge and sterling portfolio of Italian white wines—but his own label? That was news to us.

“LOL,” he wrote back. “Ristorante only for now! You want some?”
