Loimer Gemischter Satz Mit Achtung 2015 750ml

The 2015 Gemischter Satz mit Achtung is a super clear, ripe, pure and fresh field blend composed of Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, Welschriesling, Traminer and White and Red Riesling, cultivated at 320 meters above sea level in a low-yielding (30 hectoliters per hectare), 55-year-old vineyard on the gneiss and mica-schist soils of the Zöbinger Eichelberg. Classified as Landwein (“vin de pays”), it is orange in color and opens with orange and lime blossoms as well as yellow-fleshed stone fruit aromas on the nose. Round, aromatic and mouth-filling yet pure and well structured, with fine Pinot Noir-like tannins and ripe acidity, this is a gorgeous “orange,” or “natural,” wine that you can appreciate like a red wine (from a black glass or with complete ignorance regarding the color) but also as white wine, if you serve it fresh at 12-13 degrees Celsius (53-55 degrees Fahrenheit).
