A blend of 40% Clairette Rose, 40% Grenache Blanc and 20% Roussanne, the 2023 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc from La Bastide Saint Dominique offers up aromas of lemon oil, blanched almonds and spices. Perfectly balanced with a ripe profile, it’s full-bodied and enveloping, with good depth at the core and a long, spicy finish. Matured six months in stainless steel, it derived from vines planted on mixed soils (galets roulés, or pebbles, chalk and sand).
