A step up and coming from a steep hillside vineyard, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Jersey Boys Vineyard is another full-bodied, powerful yet elegant wine that has notable complexity in its cassis and black cherry fruit and notes of black tea, savory herbs, tobacco, and earth. The tannins are beautifully polished, and it offers notable purity and freshness as well as a great finish. It’s another 2016 that offers incredible quality. It too is ideal for drinking over the coming 10-15 years, and I certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see it keep longer.
