Gentleness, transparency and purity are always hallmarks of this elegant wine. Less than a third of new oak was used for maturation, resulting in fresh-faced honesty. Tender red fruit and wet oak-leaf notes on the nose also appear on the palate, although for now this is still tightly wound and needs to unfurl. There is something harmonious and unforced at its heart, concentrated but fresh with a lasting aromatic quality.
