Domaine de Bila-Haut (M. Chapoutier) Collioure Chrysopee Blanc 2016 750ml

Sugared mint, citrus blossom, crushed rocks, hints of lavender, and lime all emerge from the 2016 Collioure Chrysopée Blanc, which is a blend of 90% Grenache Gris and 10% Grenache Blanc brought up in tank. It’s concentrated, medium to full-bodied, and textured, yet also straight up seamless, silky, and long. I struggle to think of a better white I’ve tasted from the region. This fabulous white can be drunk over the coming 2-3 years or cellared for a decade or more.
