Winemaker Katie Carter took a cue from Burgundy’s Chablis region—famed for its steely-crisp Chardonnay—and crafted the wine without the influence of oak barrels. The result is uniquely Californian, though, and delivers floral and citrusy aromas with a palate of super-ripe tropical fruits, hints of white peach and honeydew melon. A mouthwatering aperitif and happy companion with citrus-grilled chicken or shellfish.
