Talented winemaker Jean-Marc Sauboua crafts some of our most popular Bordeaux.

So, when he offered to send his newest Sauvignon Blanc – in special MAGNUM bottles, no less – we jumped at the opportunity. Thanks to the quality of Bordeaux’s excellent 2018 vintage, which benefited from an unusually long summer that allowed grapes to ripen to perfection, Jean-Marc and the team at Château de Colombe were able to make their first Sauvignon Blanc.

You’re in for classic aromas of fresh-cut grass and citrus fruits, leading to vibrant gooseberry and herb flavors. In its impressive, 1.5-liter bottle, this Sauvignon will make a serious statement on your dinner table. Pour a glass before the meal to whet your appetite, perhaps alongside crudités and creamy goat cheese (Sauvignon Blanc’s classic match). Then, enjoy with crisp summer salads or seafood dishes. (We love stone crab, grilled sea bass, or shrimp over linguine.)
