Still vibrant ruby in hue, the 2017 Ventoux Les 3 Villages (under Diam) is slightly tarry and roasted at first, settling down in a few minutes to deliver more cherry fruit and notes of Mediterranean herbs. It’s holding steady: medium to full-bodied and supple in feel, with creamy, resolved tannins and hints of licorice and dark chocolate on the finish.
