In the mouth, it is fresh with persistent tannins. Tasting notes reveal aromas of dried fig, orange zest, acetone, papaya, dried apricot, ginger, saffron, dried flowers, raisin, balsamic, caramel, hazelnut, walnut, clove, leather, and tobacco. The palate is intense with flavors of raisin, coffee, and caramel, accompanied by a whisky-like nose. This Ruby Port is described as incredibly deep, intense and brown in color, with a complex and profound character.
