El Corral Cremat is the legacy of a company that has been producing organic wines in the area of the Ordal Mountains for over 40 years. Josep Maria Albet i Noya presents a personal elaboration, showcasing the finest vineyards of the estate while maintaining utmost respect for the essence of the place they inhabit and the fruits bestowed upon them by the earth. The long-aged sparkling wine is made 100% with the Xarel·lo variety. According to the parameters of the Clàssic Penedès seal, this wine has been harvested and vinified on the Albet i Noya property. It has evolved for more than 10 years inside the bottle, waiting for the ideal moment to be consumed. Intense aromas of yeast, pastries, wildflowers, and aromatic plants. In the mouth, the wine is voluminous, with fine bubbles and an aftertaste of fresh grass, exhibiting just the right bitterness and pleasantness of the Xarel·lo variety. A Mediterranean character that only their house’s Xarel·los is capable of giving.

Champagne Blend

The sparkling wines of Champagne have been revered by wine drinkers for hundreds of years, and even today they maintain their reputation for excellence of flavor and character, and are consistently associated with quality, decadence, and a cause for celebration. Their unique characteristics are partly due to the careful blending of a small number of selected grape varietals, most commonly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. These grapes, blended in fairly equal quantities, give the wines of Champagne their wonderful flavors and aromas, with the Pinot Noir offering length and backbone, and the Chardonnay varietal giving its acidity and dry, biscuity nature. It isn’t unusual to sometimes see Champagne labeled as ‘blanc de blanc’, meaning it is made using only Chardonnay varietal grapes, or ‘blanc de noir’, which is made solely with Pinot Noir.
