The 2019 Las Posadas Proprietary Red comes from a site on Howell Mountain. While it shows the impressive structure common to many Cabernet-based wines from that AVA, this vintage is also opulent and flashy, with hints of pencil shavings accenting blueberries and cherries on the nose. Full-bodied and concentrated, it’s framed by rich, velvety tannins that linger easily on the extended finish.
