The 2017 vintage follows hot on the heels of the 2016 which received the equal highest score ever for a Sauvignon Blanc—a near-perfect 98 points from Decanter. Prior to this, no Sauvignon Blanc from anywhere in the world has ever been rated “exceptional” by the prestigious UK magazine. It’s no surprise that even celebrities have taken notice. Already this 2017 vintage Sauvignon Blanc has been awarded Blue Gold at the 2018 Sydney International Top 100 wine competition where it was judged against other Sauvignon Blancs, then again with food. The way it enhances food has made it a sommelier favorite; UK’s Sommelier Wine Awards judges stated, “That teams of highly attuned sommeliers keep on picking it out for Gold, blind, year after year, vintage after vintage is a truly remarkable testament to the vineyards and the winemaker.”

The late harvest of 2017 proved an incredible follow-up to the terrific 2016 vintage. Though yields were lower, cooler temperatures throughout the growing season produced berries packed with complexity and concentration. The result is a weightier wine, with terrific mineral-precision that is sure to tip the scales of the critics again.
