Winemaker and proprietor Alberto Graci is the vice president of the Conzorzio of Etna wineries, and brings an obsessive drive to highlight Etna’s outstanding local terroir in every bottling. Located on the rugged, Northern slopes of Mount Etna, Graci is the modern standard-bearer for distinctive Sicilian wines in a region where viticulture has a 2,000-year history. Graci produces some of the most stunning wines made completely from indigenous Sicilian grapes cultivated in black soils without herbicides. In the winery, Graci remains committed to their traditional expressions of terroir, using only native yeasts and used oak in his winemaking. He’s committed to classically styled 100% Nerello Mascalese Etna Rosso, which showcases sundried cherry and plum fruit, and distinctive volcanic minerality.
