2015 Tenuta di Gracciano della Seta Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG (1.5 L)

The name of this wine is a combination of everything that makes it a standout. Tenuta de Graciano means “Farm of Gracciano,” a reference to one of the most famous vineyards in Montepulciano resting at 900-1,250 feet of elevation. “Della Seta” means from the Seta Ferrari Corbelli Greco family—luckily they shortened it for the label—one of the most influential winemaking families of the region. This wine shows the purity of Sangiovese character through and through. Red currant, cranberry, raspberry, saddle leather, and dried red flowers. It’s softer and more approachable in style, and ready for near term drinking, over the next decade.
