Parker’s Wine Advocate: “Impossible to Resist”

Bob Betz, a Master of Wine, is Washington’s kingpin winemaker — a title that was his long before Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate proclaimed his wines to be “the best of Washington State.” Betz’s 2013 “Clos de Betz” earned 94 points from the Advocate, which gushed, calling it “sexy, supple,” and a “full-bodied beauty,” that is “impossible to resist.” But, this Right Bank-inspired Bordeaux blend is heavily allocated, and the winery mailing list is closed to new members.
