Provence’s rosés steal the spotlight, but look beyond this storied (and often pricey) region, and you’ll find world-class pinks tucked away in other parts of southern France. In southwest France, Comté Tolosan is part of the Aquitaine Basin, the plains that fall between the Pyrenees, the Massif Central and the Atlantic Ocean. The area is also home to a wide array of rare local grapes—like Négrette, the variety behind Violette de Mireval.
