It offers complex aromas of smoky black currant and graphite, then smooth and intense flavors of cassis and black cherry (plus hints of nutmeg and fresh mint) on the palate. James Suckling captured it rather nicely: “Redcurrants and some vibrant cherries and plums here. A hint of tobacco leaf, too. This medium-bodied cabernet shows generous fruit, wrapped by firm, nicely chewy tannins. Well balanced and drinkable.”
