Chapel Hill has been an institution in the region since 1972 (though the famous chapel that now serves as the estate’s tasting room dates to 1865). Head winemaker Michael Fragos crafted The Prophet to honor that legacy. His mission started in the prized Chapel Hill Vineyard, where he selected perfectly ripened, sustainably farmed Cabernet. He then took the grapes back to the winery, where he treated the wine to 20 months in fine French oak.

The resulting Cabernet brims with rich mulberry, red currant and toasty baking spice aromas and flavors. Firm tannins introduce the long, complex finish and make The Prophet a divine match for barbecued fare, hearty pasta and more.
