The region’s official board (sticklers for quality) named 2016 an ‘exceptional’ vintage with ‘superb’ results for quality and quantity. Usually, it would be blended into their top-tier Crianza, which, in the past, has earned a 90+ and Best Buy rating from the country’s revered Peñin wine guide.
