Château Moulin du Prieur is run by father-son team Didier and Arnaud Merit, the grandson and great-grandson of the estate’s founder, Emmanuel Merit. Their sunny, south-facing slopes yield wonderfully ripe grapes – Merlot lends velvety, black plum character, Cabernet Sauvignon gives the wine structure and cassis notes, and Cabernet Franc adds a complex earthy-spice character.
