A ripe nose but without excess. Some good complexity, with minerals, blackberries, blueberries, roasted red peppers and some dark chocolate. Tannins are convincingly fine and abundant, with a dusty, polished texture. A full-bodied, ripe and juicy Toscana that lasts well in the finish. Mostly merlot and cabernet sauvignon. Better in one or two years.

Sangiovese
