Generous wood fights somewhat with the more floral-suffused aromas of various dark berries, cool earth and herbal tea wisps. There is more volume still to the nicely intense and muscular medium weight plus flavors that possess a velvety mouthfeel before terminating in a lingering, firm and youthfully austere finale where the wood resurfaces. This is pretty oaky at present though the necessary density appears to be present such that the wood treatment will eventually be successfully integrated.
