3-Vintage “Trilogie” Haut-Brion (1.5 L)

This is something no sane collector could ignore: a three-pack of magnums from Château Haut-Brion, all from spectacular vintages, all bearing multiple 100-point scores.

We direct-imported just six sets, cellar-direct in their original wood cases, featuring three of the greatest Haut-Brions of all time.

• 2005: “An absolutely perfect wine in every way,” wrote Jeb Dunnuck. “The 2005 Haut Brion is out of this world and certainly one of the finest wines I’ve ever tasted.” It earned 100 points from Dunnuck, Robert Parker, Antonio Galloni of Vinous, James Suckling, Lisa Perrotti-Brown’s Wine Independent, and Wine Spectator. 

• 2009: “What a blockbuster effort!” wrote Robert Parker, who was unreserved in his praise, calling the 2009 “one of the most compelling examples of Haut-Brion ever made.” This is a powerful vintage: “Readers who have loved the complexity of Haut-Brion should be prepared for a bigger, richer, more massive wine, but one that does not lose any of its prodigious aromatic attractions.”

• 2010: “A massive wine in every sense, it still somehow stays weightless and graceful, with silky, building tannins, flawless balance, and just everything in the right place,” raved Dunnuck. He called the 2010 “pure perfection and one of truly legendary wines out there,” predicting “upwards of 75–100 years of ultimate longevity.”
