2016 Dalla Valle Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Napa Valley

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is a gorgeous, deep and dark snapshot of the rugged hillside vineyards of the Dalla Valle estate. Showing a highly attractive nose of macerated black fruit, black forest cherry, graphite, tobacco, mocha, and violets, it’s full-bodied, with a cut, tension, and structure that will allow the wine to evolve for more than fifteen years. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate gave it a 97-point rating, saying it “saunters out of the glass with a seriously sexy nose,” and “the palate positively quivers with an electric intensity of tightly wound black and red berry layers.”
