“Tasting that corridor,” he wrote, “going from the east-side hills, where you have some great wineries, right through the valley floor and up to the Mayacamas Mountains, where Harlan is, I really see that as the tenderloin of Napa Valley. It’s nearly unheard of. 

We wish we could tell you which producer in Oakville made today’s wine, but their identity is locked away in an ironclad NDA—even our lawyers were impressed with the level of secrecy. Because we can’t drop names, the only proof of this wine’s quality is in the bottle—and it passed our discerning tasting panel with flying colors.
