Readers will find a Barolo of tremendous structure and pedigree. Blue-toned fruit, leather, licorice, incense and dried flowers are all amplified to the maximum. All this needs is time. The only question is how much. Sadly, production is just 4,000 bottles. Magnificent.

Nebbiolo

The Nebbiolo grape varietal is widely understood to be the fruit responsible for Italy’s finest aged wines. They are generally aged for many years to balance out their characteristics, as their natural tannin levels tend to be very high.
