The 2023 Grüner Veltliner Urgestein is from gneiss vineyards with a slight loess cover. Whole-bunch-pressed fruit shows gorgeous citrus and ivy savor, bright with crunchy yellow, juicy pear. The palate has a lovely edge of zestiness that guides and channels the pear-fruited juiciness and ripeness. The 2023 brims with fruit, life, ripeness and tension. (Bone-dry)

Gruner Veltliner is a pale skinned white wine grape varietal most closely associated with central European countries such as Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
